Sneaker Wars:
Adidas v Puma

This three-part documentary series for Disney+ explores the decades-long rivalry between two brothers who went on to found two of the biggest sports brands in the world. I was brought on to create all design and animation across the series, from the opening sequence to archival treatment, as well as titles and fully animated scenes throughout the episodes.

A DIY-inspired, cut-and-paste approach — shifting between collage, photocopy, graffiti and more — felt like the right way to treat a history that’s layered, subjective and constantly reworked; with the same events sometimes remembered very differently. In the end, this resulted in about twenty minutes of animation across the episodes — below, a very quick overview of just the collage animation by itself:
